EZ3D OA Pop Up Grid

EZ3D OA Pop Up Grid

Materials needed:  Grid Template, pencil, scissors.

This isn't a lesson really.  More of a challenge.  Try designing your own OA Pop Up.  Try using shapes, angles, anything you want.  Fold the page in half and then draw the shapes you want to popup.  If you want a shape to pop up, remember to start your cuts from the folded edge and leave a spot at the top of the shape where it can be folded up.  Just look at the previous templates to get an idea. The more you experiment, the better you will become.  You can use graph paper to help you or download the grid template.  Have fun!

  1. I think I'm keeping up mentally, but haven't got to play yet. Have grandbaby 3 days and still haven't done taxes, so I'm behind. This is one of the first things on my "play" list.

    1. Thanks for commenting, Suzi! Grandbaby and taxes come first, LOL. Looking forward to hearing about your OA adventures as soon as you have the time.

  2. I'm just checking in to let you know I completed the first 10 yesterday (some I've done before) and it was fun. I hope to try #11 today and then take your challenge to create my own. Thanks again for posting this. I'm sure I'm not the only one having fun with it.

    1. You're welcome, Sandy, and thanks for commenting! I am glad the templates are working out for you. Would love to see picts of your experiments when you are done. Hmmm ... I need to find a way to publish photos that the readers want to share.

Take care and keep on cutting!
